BRISBANE, CA—AXL introduces a new tube guitar amplifier with professional Celestion speakers, premium tubes and the astonishing quality and craftsmanship of AXL’s impressive amp line.

 

The Medway Special 1GN (AA-MS18-1GN) has 18 watts RMS of tube power and features the G12M 12" Celestion speaker which gives this amplifier its powerful, wide sound and mid-range punch for both the stage and studio.

 

Two premium 12AX7 tubes are in the pre-amp and two EL84 tubes are in the power amp which give this amp its teeth, plus dual 1/4” inputs for high or low signals. This new tube amplifier is strong, loud, and completely rock ‘n’ roll.

 

By pushing the gain slightly, this amp can achieve the warm tube crunch that everyone looks for but rarely finds.

 

The Medway Special has a distinctive look of deep green tolex with a basket-weave style grille cloth that appeals to contemporary players and vintage enthusiasts. This amplifier also features Accutronics spring reverb, 3-band EQ, footswitch jack, effects send and return and a 1/4” speaker out.
